This is my house. My wife and I purchased it when we were in our 20’s. It’s not built on wealth or grandeur. It’s a modest home that suits us well and allowed us to raise our children in a great environment.
As my career progressed, we could’ve gone bigger, spent more, had a more optically impressive home but that’s not who we are. We measured success vs. what was important to us, not others. We knew who we were and built a life that aligned.
As you build a life and career, look inwardly, know who you are, and seek companies, roles and careers that align with what’s important to and what your see as your definition of success.
